My name is Sagie. I know, it looks hard to pronounce. It actually isn’t so much. Să-gē. Sa-gi. That’s all. It’s Hebrew. It means “exalted, supreme”. Sagie. Oh forget it, you can call me Joe.
I was born & raised in the far-away land, Israel, where I went to school, watched TV, spent three long years of mandatory military service, listened to tons of music, messed up my ipod, moved to Tel Aviv, read a lot of comics, worked for a few Internet startups, but mostly just watched TV.
Yeah I know, I’m so uniquely deep and spiritual.
Right now I’m 24 years old, living and working in NYC (Wha! More on that in a later post). Yes I’m new here, and would like to be your friend.
I’m a media junkie, totally in love with the Internet, love using it and working on it.
The best things in life are, in my opinion, catching a beautiful song on a beautiful moment, watching a good movie that touches your life, relaxing in the living room in front of your current favorite television show, being drawn into a book. I think these “material” things are actually what connects us to our own deep thoughts, and to other people’s inner souls. But that’s just me.
Anyway, I’ve been using Tumblr for the past few years, but what started as a Internet-Is-Fun-ish content media hub, quickly transformed into the current Hot-Girls-R-Us. While I don’t have anything against hot girls (really), I do think it’s the right time to start tumblelogging (nice word. not) again.
